Lesley Russell

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at Caring Hands Group, Lesley has a hand in all areas of the business, ensuring it runs smoothly. She processes accounts, looks after services and supplies required at head office and handles human resources. She is also the manager of the Lifeline arm of the business.

Lesley is a member of the Chartered Institute of Managers and has more than 30 years’ experience in management, accounting and administration. She also has experience of setting up new businesses in homecare, estate agency and engineering, and brings a wealth of skills to Caring Hands Group from problem solving to managing personal information.

Lesley is driven by a desire to provide excellent customer service for everyone and she is inspired each day by seeing first hand the difference Caring Hands makes to people’s lives.

Janet Copland RN (BSc) ANP, Nebosh

Director of Care

As Director of Care Janet heads up the team of carers and care managers and is responsible for their recruitment, training and the policies and procedures they work to. She also engages with various stakeholders to ensure good working relationships, and leads on the specialist care services the group offers for those living with complex conditions.

Janet’s background is as an A&E sister, while in more recent years she has moved away from a frontline clinical role to manage the North West’s justice health contracts, including prisons, sexual health centres and custody health care. The role has seen her work with NHS commissioners and other stakeholders to deliver a robust and quality service.

Widowed at a young age, Janet’s motivation has always been her late husband – who lived with a long and debilitating illness – and their children. She is driven by a passion to ensure all those facing such circumstances receive the support they need to live with dignity. She always puts herself in the position of those she is caring for, and strives to provide the same service that she would expect for herself and her loved ones.

Clive Williams

Cleaning Services Director

As Cleaning Services Director at Caring Hands Group, Clive heads the cleaning and procurement arm of the business. He has worked in the cleaning industry for more than 30 years – managing multi-million pound commercial cleaning contracts for some of the UK’s largest businesses.

Clive’s passion is for training and innovation, ensuring staff are at the forefront of the latest techniques to ensure maximum productivity and to help employees feel valued and motivated in their various roles.

Clive has been married for 27 years and has a son who is studying at university. A keen rugby fan, he has been a season ticket holder at Sale Sharks for the past 12 years. He has also chaired the mini and juniors section of his local rugby club and volunteered as a level 1 Rugby Football Union coach.
